Mitchell and Haldeman sentenced in Watergate coverup case
UPI reported John Mitchell and H. R. Haldeman were ordered to prison for 30 months to eight years for obstructing justice conspiracy and perjury. Sirica gave two weeks to settle affairs before reporting June 22 to a DC marshal. Ehrlichman already began serving his sentence.

Murder Suspect Charged in Slaying of Thomas Dillon
Ronald Young of Townsend Avenue faces aggravated murder charges in the early Saturday fatal stabbing and throat slitting of 49 year old Thomas Arthur Dillon. Prosecutors say the case is a crime of passion with witnesses guiding investigators to Young. Dillon, a Milan High School graduate, was found near North Hester Street after visiting Maria's Bar Friday night. He leaves a daughter Wanda and siblings Kathleen Clapp and Paul Dillon. Graveside services are planned for Milan Cemetery Tuesday.
