Ozzie Nelson longtime radio and TV star with Harriet Nelson died at his home from cancer at age 68. He had a history of tests and surgery after the malignancy was found and had been confined to his house for a month. Harriet Nelson was at his side, and their sons David and Rick visited daily.

The Norwalk City Council will convene at 7 30 p m in City Hall for a regular session. Members will discuss municipal matters and hear public comment.
Willard plans an ordinance to raise city council salaries from 120 to 600 dollars yearly, applying to new and re elected members.
