Columbus based Aviation Safety Institute head John Galipault says engine mounting defects found in the DC-10 may also exist in six other airliner models including the 707 737 DC-8 and B-727. He warns FAA monitoring is weak and cites reports of bolts cracking and pylon linkage problems linked to the Chicago crash that killed 273 people.
