Elusive motorcyclist nabbed after downtown chase
A 26 year old motorcyclist Michael Fink of 538 Woodbine led police on a downtown chase Wednesday night after riding on Myrtle Avenue sidewalk. He resisted arrest striking cruiser doors and causing damage, then was forced into the cruiser. He faces resisting arrest eluding officers disorderly conduct and marijuana possession charges and was jailed after a Norwalk Municipal Court warrant.

Police Blotter: Two Bicycles Stolen and Abandoned Vehicle
Two bicycles were reported stolen Monday night from residences of Anthony Brutsche and Rick Osborne. An abandoned vehicle with West Virginia plates was found at 59 Monroe St and impounded at 4 50 p m. Eric Jones reported a stolen lawn mower valued at 74 dollars between Sunday and Wednesday. Also prints local crop prices for Wheat Corn Oats and Soybeans with July 25 1979 date.

A Plymouth woman 27 was cited for improper backing after a two vehicle crash at Ohio 598 and 103 involving Mary J Howard and Thomas B Walker Jr. at the junction. Howard backed from Ohio 103 and hit Walker’s car at the scene.
