Three Hanafis receive second degree murder convictions for the District Building killing of radio reporter Maurice Williams. all 12 are convicted of kidnapping. Sentencing set for September 6.
A Norwalk area woman, Nancy Hayes 26, died from head injuries after falling from the hood of a moving station wagon driven by Daniel Dearth 32 on Ohio 113 east of Bellevue. The accident occurred about 6 15 p m as the two, who shared the same rural Norwalk address, reportedly argued. Dearth stopped or slowed the car per their dispute. The highway patrol continues its inquiry today. Hayes leaves husband Terry. funeral arrangements pending at Kubach Smith Funeral Home.
