Pervis Brown a 26 year old volunteer and Youth Economic Division representative is named CAC board chairman. He lives at 2603 Tremper Ave Sandusky and has long volunteered with the Sandusky Neighborhood Center. Browns seat will be filled by another YED appointee.
Norwalk resident Eugene Sitterly 10 riding west in the eastbound lane on Washington Road was struck by Debra Winchester 16 of rural Norwalk. Sitterly sustained noticeable injuries but did not seek medical treatment and Winchester was not cited.
Earl F. Nokes 51 of R D 1 New London is in serious condition at Lorain Community Hospital after a tractor failing to stop at a intersection with Ohio 511 162 struck a northbound car driven by Robert Clark 24 of Nova. The tractor flipped. Clark’s car overturned. Nokes suffered facial lacerations abrasions and possible fractures. He was treated first at Wellington Community Hospital then Lorain. Nokes was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
