Judge Suggests Divorced Couple Share Son's Ashes
Kent County Circuit Judge George Cook ruled that the cremated ashes of Greg Dunn, a 13 year old who died of cystic fibrosis, be split between his divorced parents unless they agree who may bury him. The judge noted both parents deeply loved their son and saw no court based alternative. The case invoked a Solomon like solution as a last resort to a painful dispute.
