James Ferris of 10 Old State Road South was named Norwalk's first building and zoning inspector in a part time post. Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed five applications and interviewed candidates this morning. Ferris, retired for a year, previously worked for Fanny Farmer Candy Shops and cites experience in home building wiring plumbing and real estate.

Robbery Suspect Apprehended After County Roadblocks
Roadblocks were set at two county intersections on Friday between 2 and 4 p.m. in a hunt for the First National Bank of Mansfield robber. 4 Hurt In Mishap Blamed On Youth
A former Berlin Heights youth escaped from a state hospital and was captured after a 12:10 a.m. crash on U S 20 east of Wakeman. A stolen car driven by Donald Brant of Toledo struck a mailbox and a boulder, injuring four and sending Brant to Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital. Authorities labeled the incident under investigation.
