Journalism awards announced in Willard Times contest

The Willard Times staff won 10 awards in the 1979 writing and photo contest by the North Central Ohio Chapter Society of Professional Journalists. Dick Hendrickson of Lorain Journal earned two awards, Craig Holman of Medina Gazette three. Jeff Adair won top awards for news and feature photos and editorial. Tim Riley won top awards for news and sports feature. honorable mention in news and feature photo. David S Wilde won best sports photo and best column. Bob Allen won best sports hammer story.
