Meyer Seeks Annexation For Norwalk Trailer Park Site

Tedlech Co. president Robert E. Meyer filed a petition with Huron County Commissioners to annex 54 acres north of Gallup Avenue in Norwalk for a mobile home park. The plan involves a land parcel partly used as a police firing range and the county set a hearing for 10 a.m. Monday September 20 to decide on the annexation with potential city involvement.

Two Killed In Head On Crash On Ohio 18 East Of Norwalk

Two men died in a midnight head on collision on Ohio 18 about 60 miles east of Norwalk. A motorhome was struck seconds later injuring 11 others. Randal T. Reikowsky 17 North Canton died instantly and Larry W. Miller 26 rural New London died at Fisher Titus Hospital. Reikowsky was a North Canton high school student returning home from near Bucyrus. Miller was a Midway Oil Co. mechanic and Western Reserve basketball alum. Darrow O Brundage 46 rural Berlin Heights described the second crash. Four in the Stricken motorhome were injured. Funeral services for Reikowsky are set for Wednesday at St Pauls Catholic Church in North Canton.
