MONROEVILLE The unlicensed car on Walter Hopkins’s property at 26 Fulton St may be impounded. Mayor Clayton Lord says the vehicle belongs to a Vietnam service member and violates village rules. The mayor plans written notices to about 60 owners to enforce the ordinance. Police Chief Jerrold Henery says no immediate impoundment without orders.

London Bridge to be sold for replacement in 1970

Wakeman Plans Sesquicentennial Queen Contest
Wakeman will kick off its Sesquicentennial with a queen contest and foot-stomping square dance at 7 p.m. Friday July 21 in the Wakeman Grange Hall.
