The Ex-Lax Co. filed a civil suit against three firms selling a novelty gum called Sex-Lax. It alleges trademark violations and says the product’s packaging imitates Ex-Lax, creating a false impression of endorsement or association.
Four Russian navy vessels sailed within 35 miles of the U S coast in the Gulf of Mexico. The destroyer USS Bigelow and Navy P3 bombers shadowed the task force, which included a guided missile cruiser two missile destroyers and an oil tanker. The ships stayed outside the 12 mile territorial limit after visiting Havana on June 27.

Shastid did not appear in Delaware County Common Pleas Court. He admitted biting a female fan during a February Delaware County club show. He claimed the act arose from a threat to modesty.
