Annexation Decision Set for July 17 in Ridgefield Township
Huron County Commissioners recessed after a lengthy hearing on the 173.1 acre Ridgefield annexation to Norwalk and plan to decide July 17. The vote follows a June 20 City Council delay and possible rescission if annexation fails. Local business, township officials, and residents testified pro and con, citing tax impacts and growth needs for Norwalk and Ridgefield.
