Transition Of Mental Health Services In Limbo
County mental health boards race to ratify a plan to shift patient care from the Huron County Mental Health Society to the Linn Corp. While negotiations continue, board presidents delayed meetings awaiting more information and a finalized transition proposal. An earlier plan was rejected, and the new scheme includes two former center counselors guiding clients and transferring records to Linn Corp. or other agencies. The transition targets 86 West Main Street and lasts up to one month.
