A Shelby man, Reaford Harman, 22, will appear before a Huron County grand jury on Tuesday on attempted murder charges in a Greenwich centennial celebration incident. Patrolman Donald Murray was injured and three other men were questioned as statements were taken. Harman remains jailed.
Tony Comito, site engineer for Burger King, says Norwalk will host the chain’s second U.S. prototype restaurant. The Norwalk outlet on U S 250 and Republic Street will seat 76, feature a drive through, and open in early October. The $100,000 site was bought from Ohio Turf Nursery. 36 local employees will be hired for the operation.
Philippe Cousteau, 37, was recovered from the Tagus by Navy divers after a World War II era seaplane, Calypso, broke apart on a river landing near Alverca.
