Sympathetic Judge Probates Dean Martin Jr on firearms plea
In Los Angeles a judge placed Dean Martin Jr on one year probation and fined him 2000 dollars for illegal possession of unregistered weapons including a machine gun and a 14 foot Belgian anti tank cannon. The judge offered to write a letter to aid his medical school admission. Martin, 22, a former rock singer, pleaded guilty on June 11.
