Samuel Chip Sheppard, 19, son of Dr. Sam Sheppard, was fined 50 dollars plus costs after refusing to show identification to police in Lorain. He was a car crash passenger. In London, Elizabeth Gough won a car crash award reduced from 7700 to 4200 pounds after appeal.
The forecast calls for sunny skies and warm temperatures today with highs around 90 to 95 degrees except near Lake Erie where upper 80s are expected. Brenda Lee Wingate a 20 month old Monroeville girl is in critical condition with a severe skull fracture and multiple injuries after a head on crash on Ohio 4 near Sandusky. Mother Juanita Wingate and James Zeis were treated for injuries after the morning wreck police said Zeis failed to stop at a stop sign and Wingate was turning onto Ohio 99 when struck.
