Six youths convicted of vandalism in Huron County case
In Huron County Juvenile Court six youths aged 13 to 17 were found guilty of a city vandalism spree two weeks prior. They received suspended sentences to the Ohio Youth Commission with restitution to be determined and $500 parental bonds posted. Damage included tire slashing, a pool liner, and mail box and driveway marker damage at McGuan Park and the northwest city area.

Man Fined Six Charges After High Speed Chase
Kenneth Caudill 18 of Bloomville was fined 600 plus costs after a Friday morning pursuit through town. Police say he sped through red lights rammed parked cars and fled town line road before being caught. He faced reckless operation driving while intoxicated leaving the scene of an accident and related counts in Mayor's Court.

Four Car Pile-Up On Route 250 Near Norwalk
A Shelby man Donald J. Ford, 67, was charged with causing a four car chain reaction on U S 250 north of Norwalk Friday afternoon. Involved were Robert Burdge 45 of Milan Robert Adcock 31 of Sandusky and William O Conkle 47 of Sandusky. Conkle and Ford s wife Jane 51 reported slight injuries but were not treated.

Toledo Youth Hides in Woods After Collision
A 22 year old Toledo youth, Ciairon Johnson Jr., fled his stolen car after colliding with a vehicle at the U S 4 intersection. He was captured by highway patrolmen and Monroeville and Bellevue officers and jailed for Toledo authorities on charges of no license theft and failure to stop. The other driver John Wohler 25 and wife Janice of Wadsworth suffered minor injuries.
