Cleveland Clinic kidney transplant lends nephew new lease on life
Lester Greiner donated a kidney to his nephew Harry Greiner of Norwalk after doctors diagnosed nephritis. The 49 year old Kenton worker endured tests and procedures at the Cleveland Clinic, including a four hour operation that succeeded with both patients recovering. Lester, who has three biological children and a stepdaughter, says his motive was family and hope, despite personal risks and a lost finger from a prior accident.
