The Towne and Country Regional Arts Center presents On the Town with lead actor Tom Sweigard ill with bronchitis yet determined to perform. Co stars Jim Foreman and Gary Schrickel carry the dance numbers as other cast members battle colds. Bernstein musical and 1944 Broadway plot about three sailors on leave run at 57 E Main St tonight through Feb 8 with $2.50 adults $1 children.

Five Elected To Historic Lyme Church Board
At the third annual meeting of the Historic Lyme Church Association five members were chosen for two year terms. Melvin G. Herner and Robert Seymour were re elected. Jean R. Leonard and John F. Hogue were elected from the community and church member respectively, while Nancy McWilliams was named to complete the remaining term. Two constitutional amendments were approved and the board will organize for 1975 at the Feb 9 meeting.

Dussell to Appeal Murder Conviction in Jodi Auble Slaying
Dennis Dussell will appeal his murder conviction in the Jodi Auble case. His lawyer George Howells said the appeal will be filed within two weeks. The Oct. 5 slaying occurred in Huron.

William Hersha faces a separate charge involving a minor and guardianship.
