Eddie Jones 6 foot 8 inch 260 pound lineman from Tennessee State was selected by the Dallas Cowboys as the No 1 overall pick in the 1973 NFL college player draft. He can play tackle or end and follows Patulski and Matuszak as the first pick in consecutive years. The Cowboys acquired the pick from Houston in a previous trade.
