Norwalk approves annexation and across the board raises
City council unanimously annexed about 55 acres urged by Mayor Wayne Goodsite who called it a two way street with local businesses. A two year 7 percent across the board pay increase was approved for all city employees including higher salaries for the mayor starting December 1. Detailing salaries for finance director, law director, police and fire chiefs, park director, and the municipal court judge, plus a resolution praising former Police Chief Hilson. Also noted is Ohio Edison seeking a 125 million rate hike filed with PUCO and five ordinances plus an audit bid for the raw water public works grant.
