Sirhan B. Sirhan says he cannot remember shooting Robert F. Kennedy. Under hypnosis he reenacts the scene and fires an imaginary gun as the defense begins its Friday session after the trial recess. Prosecutors wrapped their case after 56 witnesses supported the murder charge.

900 Attend 4-H Banquet In Norwalk

More than 900 persons attended the annual 4-H Club A Banquet at Norwalk Junior High School for members earning an A grade. Guest speaker Jim Doney showed a Hawaii program and autograph seekers swarmed during intermission. Bonnie Sparks led songs. sponsors included local clubs and businesses.

Norwalk Toastmasters Host Area 11 Speech Contest

The Norwalk Toastmasters Club will host the Area 11 speech contest on March 11 at Elks Country Club beginning with a 7 p.m. dinner and an 8 p.m. contest. Participants include Norwalk speakers William Vail and Harry Gilbert with judges Elmer McGuckin and Cliff Cross. Area Governor Robert C. Jaeger leads the event. The winner advances to Mansfield Territory C contest on April 19.

Bank of America Hails Five Most Wanted Robbers Ad Program

Bank of America ran full page newspaper ads last December depicting five bank robbers in action in San Francisco Oakland and Los Angeles. Four suspects have been arrested since. The bank stated it pays to advertise.

Guns A Mystery To Most Pueblo Sailors

The USS Pueblo battle guns were unmanned and many sailors lacked shooting training during the 1968 capture. Enlisted witness Maggard testified guns were unshielded and exposure would be deadly. others said life jackets and helmets were stored above deck and not issued before fire. The court plans further testimony from all 74 Pueblo enlisted men aboard during the seizure.

Burglary at Norwalk VFW Club Stoles Cash and Items

Thieves broke into the Norwalk VFW hall on Milan Avenue during the early morning, stealing about 524 dollars from a money bag in a trophy case and roughly 50 dollars in assorted items. A small camera, barber kit and tool kit were also taken from a shelf. Entry was gained through a rear window. The burglary occurred between 2 45 a m and 8 a m. Capt. George Sisson leads the investigation with likely multiple suspects.
