Ohio sheriff sold surplus patrol cars at profit
Geauga County Sheriff Carl E. Henderson bought 24 surplus cars and two trucks from the Ohio Highway Patrol at discount prices and resold some of them for personal gain. He had authority for five cars in 1978, and the Cleveland Press cites sources claiming vehicles were sold to friends deputies and others in Lake and Geauga counties. The sheriff paid 25845 dollars for the fleet and acted in his official capacity.

Begin says he will attend summit if cabinet approves
