Firelands club hosts spring fashion show for education
The Firelands Business and Professional Women's Club held its annual benefit style show and card party at the Eagles Hall. Proceeds support the COED pledge for constructing the Firelands Branch of Bowling Green State University. Mrs Aima Maunus moderated displays from the Mary Ann Shoppe spring collection.

New London High School hosted a Future Homemakers of America session with the theme Making Your Money Behave. Joan Cooke Linda Morrow and Sue Geiger presented skits Personal Spending and Your Food Dollar to stress the topic. Becky Roeder Norma Knapp Diane Jackson and Jane Pheifer presented a skit on the FHA Constitution. Eighth grade girls will be invited to March meeting to learn about the organization’s objectives.

Fifteen members attended the Whittle-Eytes Tops Club gathering at Mrs. Ronald Ingersoll’s Norwalk home. Prizes went to Mrs. Carl Hartman and Mrs. Gilbert Liedorff. Miss Betty Franks was queen of the week. Mrs. John Frank reached her goal and became KOP in waiting. Mrs. Andrew Lukac joined as a new member. An auction followed the meeting.
