Woman Injured After Jumping From Truck On Turnpike
Pamela Ann Helterbridle of Bellbrook Ohio was critically injured Monday after leaping from a moving truck that gave her a ride when her car broke down about 12 miles east of Bedford Pennsylvania. She traveled roughly 22 miles in the truck before leaping and was taken to Fulton County Medical Center in McConnellsburg in critical condition. State Police had no trucker identification and continued investigation.

Gas line mixup ends with unsafe lane change
George J. Marder of Rockville Md pulled into a line for gas at the only open station in suburban Washington. After a five minute wait an attendant told him he was in the wrong line. He pulled out into the path of a police patrol car receiving a $15 ticket for changing lanes unsafely.
