Rare Civil War era photo of John Wilkes Booth surfaces in Chicago
A Chicago collector bought an 11 to 14 inch photograph of Abraham Lincoln's assassin John Wilkes Booth for 25 dollars nearly two years ago. Graphic Antiquity's Cliff Krainek authenticated it a week ago and estimates the image to date from 1863 or 1864 with a value around 2000 dollars.
