The recovery ship USS New Orleans positions 900 miles south of American Samoa as a near dateline target shift gives a potential Wednesday splashdown. The Apollo 14 crew Alan Shepard Edgar Mitchell and Stuart Roosa will dine aboard the carrier tonight, their first earth meal in nine days, prepared in Houston for the mobile quarantine facility onboard.
