Nixon Signs Broad Tax Reform Amid Inflation Warning

Withholding Begins Here This Week Norwalk Tax Start

Norwalk employers must withhold 1 percent of gross wages paid on or after January 1 as the city income tax. Norwalk Teacher Injured After Ridge Road Crash

Mrs. Nancy Paffenbarger 44, a Norwalk High Spanish teacher and wife of attorney Tom Paffenbarger, was seriously injured when her southbound car left Ridge Road, struck a guardrail, hit a bridge abutment, and rolled to a stop. She was taken to Fisher-Titus and then to Elyria in ICU with a head injury. Police under Lt. A E Nelson said no witnesses and no skid marks were found. investigation continues.
