Lyle H. Barnes 80 former emeritus professor at Ohio State University College of Agriculture died Christmas Day. A Columbus funeral is planned with Barnes, Purdue graduate, who served in Purdue extension 1921 1924 before joining OSU as extension agent in northern Ohio. He retired from OSU in 1962 after 33 years.
