Greenwich Considers New Fire Dept Building

Greenwich officials look to house a 2,400 square foot fire station on a village lot between the Municipal Building and Foster Foods. An $8,800 materials estimate plus wiring and heating costs suggests a total near $10,000 funded by a five year loan from the Board of Public Affairs with payments from the general fund. Council members seek cost comparisons with adding to the current station as an alternate.
