Christmas Spirit Lists Gifts for Sports Figures in Ronders Piece
Edward L. Ronders crafts a whimsical Christmas column in which the spirit of Christmas Present helps a weary sports editor compile gift ideas for notable figures. The list includes Bob Hart, Dick Alge, Jim Whittington, Paul Nestor, Steve Ringholz, Woody Hayes, Jeff Torborg, Dick Taylor, and others, framed as playful suggestions to honor virtues, talents, and coaching influence. The piece closes with a festive, egg nog soaked sendoff.
