Fatal bus crash in Tennessee and Utah cargo jet disaster

A 5 year old boy died after a Greyhound bus via Chicago to Miami crashed into a rock wall in rain near Nashville. Forty three aboard, 32 injured. In Utah a United Airlines DC-8 cargo jet crashed into a canyon near Fruit Heights, killing three crew members John Fender 49 Philip Modfitt 46 and Stephen Simpson 34. All three from Chicago area.

UPI reports Federal Judge Philip Pratt ordered a new trial for Narciso and Perez, two Filipino nurses convicted of injecting Pavulon at the Ann Arbor Veterans Administration Hospital in 1975.
