Traffic Pattern Changes In New London
New London adopts a one way north Park Avenue segment from East Main to Kirk Street with the west through lane intact. The east sidewalk area becomes a loading zone for school riders while motorists approaching the Kirk intersection must turn onto High Street or Kirk Street. Police direct southbound traffic at the barricade as the pattern goes into effect.

Monroeville Probing Four False Alarms
Monroeville volunteer fire department answered four false alarms since last weekend, beginning Saturday with three calls in two to three hours. Two calls were on Monroe Street, another on State Route 113 near the B&O Railroad tracks. A later report of a car fire near Peru Center Road South and Snyder Road yielded no blaze. Fire Chief Olin Schneider said the department is working to identify the prankster.

Man Charged In Fight At Monroeville Village Barn
Daniel Burns twenty four of Monroeville was arrested Friday at 11 p.m. for disorderly conduct at the Village Barn on South Main Street after breaking a glass and causing a scene. His brother Randall Williams helped file a police report and Burns reappeared triggering a struggle. Burns was charged and released to Gary Jones. he faces Mayor's Court December 28.
