Auto Hits Trailer Bursts Into Flame Wounding Driver
A 27 year old Norwalk man Henry Case is in guarded condition at Fisher Titus Memorial Hospital after his car struck the side of a semi trailer on Ohio 18 three miles east of Ohio 601 at 2 35 am. Case was unconscious and pulled from the burning vehicle by truck driver Bernard D McPeak 42 Gibsonia Pa. The crash occurred as Case veered off the road and the truck swerved to avoid him. The fire department extinguished the blaze and the crash is under investigation.

Solon Gets Probation After Bribe Conviction
Former Cleveland councilman James H. Boyd, who pleaded innocence, was granted shock probation after 90 days of a 1 to 10 year sentence for soliciting and accepting a $20,000 bribe from Cleveland Clinic Hospital and a hotel firm. He faces five years of state probation prohibiting public office. A separate suit, Beverly Ross of Cleveland vs Bic Pen Corp and others, seeks $250,000 for a lighter incident.

Mr and Mrs Richard Nicolls and their two daughters were stranded in Norwalk for several days last week while moving from Denver to Pittsburgh. They traded a broken car for another and faced cash shortages while seeking repairs and a new vehicle. They hope to settle in Norwalk, find housing and jobs, and were aided by local residents. The Reflector could not reach the family for further comment.
