A toastmistress presents a long festive wish list addressed to Santa. Wilma Nickols asks for gifts for her daughter Ann and son Joel, her husband, herself, Norwalk community needs, the United States, and the world, ending with a plea to seek divine help if the list is too much.
Presbyterians and church groups held Christmas events in Columbia with ornament making, charity drives, and mission support. The Presbyterian Women’s Association decorated the gas company meeting room tree and sent a Christmas offering to a girls’ school in Tanta.

Schodorf son of Mr and Mrs Leo J Schodorf Willard after basic training assigned to Beale AFB California as a construction specialist with the Strategic Air Command He a 1965 Willard High School graduate who attended Ohio State University Airman Karl J Goebel son of Mr and Mrs John F Goebel Wakeman RD 1 after basic training assigned to Seymour Johnson AFB North Carolina as a fuel specialist with the Tactical Air Command He is a 1966 Firelands High School Oberlin graduate.
A packed local schedule lists numerous meetings and festivities for Tuesday evening including the Carry-On Discussion Club at the Old Clubrooms, the Christmas potluck, and holiday parties at Elks Country Club Fisher Titus Hospital and Masonic Temple. Various study clubs and service groups meet across Norwalk Oberlin Monroeville Lorain County with start times from 6 to 9 p.m. Local organizations include TOPS Kenilee Bowling Lanes AMVETS Post 1965 and Pink Ladies and Candy Stripers.
The Milan High School chorus directed by John Russell will perform at the Milan Mothers Club meeting at 8 o clock tonight. A new officer slate was installed by Mrs Phil Lip Brown at the Let ter Carriers Auxiliary meeting Tuesday. Mrs James Lucas hosted the club with co hostess Mrs Wilbur Wise. Members voted to provide a Christmas dinner for a needy family. The January meeting will be at the home of Mrs Laurence Strimpfel with Mrs Burdette Eastman and Mrs Lyle Christie. Sandra Dendinger and others were named queens Tuesday by the North Fairfield Feather Weights Tops. Dr Richard Davies was guest speaker.
