Youth Is Threat Suspect At Norwalk High Evacuation

A 17 year old is named as the suspect in a bomb threat that forced Norwalk High School to evacuate. Principal George Perry said the call led investigators to a building on East Main Street, where a former shoe repair shop is being remodeled into a Kentucky Fried Chicken. The phone in the building was used to place the threat and Juvenile Officer John Short confirmed the origin. Police could not comment further. The charge is inducing panic.

Mayor Arrested After Picking Chief's Lock

Utica mayor Edward Hanna, a locksmith, and two city attorneys visited police headquarters to access the police chief Benny Rotundo's office. They were arrested for criminal trespass, then Hanna suspended Rotundo, a deputy chief, and two officers. The feud centers on access to departmental records without a court order.

Embalmed corpse found in Long Beach fun house dummy

The fluorescent dummy at Laugh in the Dark, hanging since 1971, is a desiccated man about 5 foot 3, likely dead since the early 1900s. US Secret Service seized an estimated 12 million dollars in counterfeit $100 bills in raids on Ellet Graphic Arts in Springfield Two and two Akron residences.
