Rev Elden Smith Resigns for Findlay Rector Post
The Rev. Elden Smith, rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for over six years, has been elected rector of Trinity Church in Findlay. His resignation at St. Paul will take effect January 15. In a letter to parishioners he called the move a surprise and said Findlay’s church is similar in size to Grace Church Sandusky or St. Andrew’s Elyria. December services at St. Pauls will proceed as scheduled.

Bellevue FFA Teams Shine In District And National Events
The Bellevue Future Farmers of America teams dominated the district district parliamentary procedure contest finishing first for both senior and junior divisions. Nationally Jeff Zeigler Wenda Beiler and Neil Konst placed third in oral reasons totaling 211 points and finished 12th overall with 1367 team points. Zeigler Nor Beiler and Konst earned personal scores ranging from 427 to 470 points with Horn earning a gold rating for cattle exhibition.
