Crash Leaves Willard Man Serious In Car Wreck
Lonnie Homan a 30 year old repairman for General Telephone Co was seriously injured Friday when his company vehicle left Ohio 61 south of Ohio 103 struck a sign sheared a telephone pole and rolled into a ditch He was taken to Willard Area Hospital and then Mansfield General Hospital in fair to poor condition undergoing surgery in the ICU The accident on 11 30 am is under investigation Other injuries were reported in separate incidents including five people hurt on Whittlesey Avenue near Key Estates and a Norwalk woman cited for failure to stop in an assured clear distance at East Main Street.
