Robert E. Wilkinson, son of Mr and Mrs William R Wilkinson of Norwalk, has been promoted to lieutenant colonel in the U S Air Force. He serves as an education and training staff officer at the Pentagon within the Air Force Headquarters Science and Technology Division. He is a 1954 Norwalk High School graduate and earned degrees from Ohio Wesleyan University the University of Pittsburgh and Texas Tech University with a 1969 master's in engineering.
