Christmas open house at Firelands Museum reports 139 visitors to date with 99 on Sunday and 40 from the Historical Society last week. The event runs two more Sundays, 1 to 5 pm, featuring antique items including a toy violin, tin animals, a horse and cart, and a Johnson's Island desk.

The Huron County Fair expects about a 15000 net after bills.
