Westinghouse Norwalk plant grew from repair unit to 61 employees
Westinghouse began as a five man repair unit in 1964 in Norwalk Ohio and expanded to a production facility with 61 workers and a 300000 dollar payroll. A new six machine thermoset plastics molding department operates 24 hours using 400000 pounds of powder biannually. The depot serves 127 appliance models and ships about 13 trailers daily.
