Bible Published in Chinese for First Time Since 1949

The government approved printing of the Christian Bible in Chinese for the first time since the 1949 revolution. Pastor Yin Ziehzeng of China’s only Protestant church said the government publishing house plans at least 100,000 copies and that a Chinese hymn book may follow.

Heaviest newborn at Fisher-Titus marks hospital record

Mark David Lawson weighed 13 pounds 82 ounces at birth on a Wednesday morning, the heaviest infant on record at Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital. Automation Equipment Inc a seven year old Norwalk facility designs and builds custom machinery for global clients with no internal sales force and a backlog into next year. Ohio teachers walk picket lines at four schools

Teachers in three Ohio districts and at EHOVE join a statewide walkout. In Galion 176 teachers stayed off on opening day with substitutes filling seven schools as attendance ranged from 9 to 75 percent. Negotiations with a mediator occurred in Rittman over an 8.8 percent demand versus 6.2 percent offer.
