Willard GI In Viet Nam A Month Killed
Willard Marine corporal Daniel C. Lykins was killed in Da Nang Viet Nam. The death was reported to his mother Mrs. Lena Conley of Willard by Capt. John Roush. Lykins enlisted in the Marines in 1963 and had been in Viet Nam since July. He is survived by his mother, brother Gary, a stepfather, two more brothers, three sisters, and several grandparents. Burial arrangements to be announced by Secor Funeral Home.

Port Clinton Man Killed in One-Car Crash
Billy Bowers, 24, of Port Clinton was killed in a one car crash on West Catawba Road yesterday morning. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department said he was traveling at a high rate of speed when his car left the road and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton.
