Norwalk CAC may relocate to new office site
The Norwalk office of the Community Action Commission may have a new address soon with details to follow after confirmation. At a recent Erie Huron Counties CAC meeting the move was discussed as the Norwalk office faces vacating its space above the Huron County Banking Co on East Main Street.

Negro named judge in Miss America pageant history
In Atlantic City a Negro, Dr. Zelma George of Chicago, was named a Miss America judge for the first time in the pageant's 48 year history. She will help select Miss America 1970 from 50 white contestants as the event runs from September 1 to September 6. Dr. George leads the Cleveland Job Corps Center for Women and holds degrees from UC, USC, and NYU.
