Willard natives win combat infantryman awards in Vietnam
PFC William J. Holthouse, 25, son of Mrs. Ruby Holthouse Route 2 Willard, assigned to the 527th Transportation Company in Germany as a driver since July 28. Capt. Jack T. Gordon, 29, husband of Patricia Gordon of Cleveland, earned the Combat Infantryman Badge with the Army element of MACV for serving under fire with a Vietnamese ground unit. Gordon is a 1952 Willard High School and 1957 Kent State graduate, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. Gordon of Willard.
