Huron County Athletes Earn Silver at International Special Olympics
Pam Smith a Norwalk High freshman and Gary Beverly a South Central High sophomore earned silver in pentathlon and second in the 220 yard dash at Mt Pleasant Michigan. They were two of only three Ohio competitors from Huron Erie and Lorain counties and earned their trip by winning at the state Columbus Special Olympics. Mary Anne Hutchinson accompanied them as supervisor.
