Flood death toll climbs to 103 in Big Thompson area
In Loveland Colorado the search of smashed cars and mud filled debris turned up four more bodies raising the death toll to 103 with two found Friday night near U S 34 and Glade Road. Stanley J Harris Sr aged 93 who organized the first Boy Scout troop in the United States died in Greensboro North Carolina. Funeral services are scheduled Sunday.

Old Troopers Honor Ridgway At 82nd Division Gathering
World War II hero General Matthew Ridgway, 81, was greeted with an emotional standing ovation by about 1,000 veterans at the 82nd Airborne Division Association’s 30th annual convention.
