On the day Alice Womack was killed Larry Robinson visited his sister's home to take back a gun and $200. Video testimony from 1973, shown at his retrial, places him at key moments including a 11:30 a.m. visit and a 3 p.m. return to collect the gun. Witnesses testified about Robinson's movements and interactions at locations around Willard and Greenwood Cemetery.

Three Norwalk residents were injured in a Thursday evening crash on Ohio 61 just south of the Erie County line. Ann A. Knott is in fair condition at Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital with Susanna Knott treated and released. Clifford Slone was also treated. The highway patrol says the Knott car failed to yield while turning left, and Ann Knott faces a failure to yield charge.
A Willard man was arrested for grand theft after tape recorders speakers and tapes stolen last June from cars at Cable Village were found in Daytona Beach Florida. A Willard juvenile implicated in the theft, another Willard man questioned, and a Florida hitchhiker were identified. The suspect was jailed in Huron County while the juvenile case heads to juvenile court.
