County offices sprawl across five sites in Huron County
Eight years into a growing county government, offices of elected officials occupy the courthouse plus the County Administration Building at 180 Milan Ave and the highway building at 150 Jefferson St, with Shady Lane Farm and Benedict Avenue sites housing welfare and other services. A new common pleas judge could force consolidations, but moving five offices would require new space or expansion, and officials warn of high costs.
